We are seeking your views on introducing a 20mph speed limit across most roads in Bedmond. Our aim is to create safer, calmer streets for residents, support children walking to school, and make it easier and safer for everyone to move around the area.
The proposal would apply to most residential streets.

Stronger neighbourhoods Calmer roads make public spaces more sociable and welcoming while better supporting children, older people and those with mobility impairments.
Smoother journeys Journey times typically take only seconds longer on local trips and traffic moves most smoothly at speeds around 18–20mph under real world conditions.
Protects pets and wildlife Drivers have more time to stop and avoid animals.
