Hertfordshire County Council wants to hear your views on where 20mph speed limits may be appropriate in Bushey & Bushey Heath.
Bushey and Bushey Heath are served by a network of main roads carrying both local and through traffic connecting into North West London.
We want to understand whether extending the 20mph network could help create streets where people feel more comfortable making these everyday local journeys, while maintaining access for those who need to travel by car. A wider network of 20mph roads may also help provide a more consistent and predictable speed environment for all road users.
Our Right Place, Right Pace approach recognises that different roads serve different purposes. We are not currently considering 20mph limits on key distributor roads such as Heathbourne Road. However, we would like your views on sections of High Street, Sparrows Herne, Elstree Road, High Road and Little Bushey Lane.
We will consult separately on a proposed 20mph speed limit along Coldharbour Lane as part of a Safer Routes to School project.
By completing the survey, your feedback will help us understand local priorities and inform the potential development of a 20mph areas for Bushey & Bushey Heath.
